YOG FOR

 YOUTHFULLNESS, ORGANIZEDNESS & GOODNESS

Yog means assimilation of two or more than two things or assimilate all of them into one. Or a state of being assimilated into one. Or becoming one with supreme consciousness or Ishwar or Parmatma after soul-realization.

Yog means adding or connecting or expanding - expanding to its fullest or optimal fruition, Yog means a process of realization of vayam (us) from aham (me), from myself yo ourselves, from seed to Vat Vriksha, from individual consciousness to supreme consciousness. Vat Vriksha commonly known as Indian Banyan (Ficus benghalensis) is a tree native to Indian Subcontinent & which is the largest tree in the world by canopy coverage.

For me "Y" of  YOG is  for youthfullness  that is full of energy or agility or vitality or enthusiasm or exuberance, "O" of  YOG is for organizedness that is being perfectly organized or systematic or regulated or disciplined or methodical, and  "G" of YOG is for goodness that is for virtuousness, for righteousness, ethicalness, uprightness. Yog has the quality of uniting the mankind with nature and has the ability to take us to the level of "Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam" ( The whole world is a family) & a holistic approach to health and well-being. Yog has no boundary of land, sea or mountain, no barrier of caste, creed, language, region or religion or no border of hatred, zealousness or enviousness.

Yog is science, yog is in sync with all religions, yog is gender neutral and above all yog is all about lifestyle choices.

On the first International Day of Yoga, the mega event not only unifies India from Kashmir to Kanyakumari, but integrates humanity throughout the globe from East to West -  a right reflection of the spirit of " Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam". Even Sea, space & land, in fact the whole Brahmand, reverberate with the celebration of Yoga.

Hundreds of Yoga enthusiasts took to mats and performed different exercises related to Yoga at different locations across 192 countries. 47 Islamic countries were among those who participated in Yoga Day celebrations even after facing controversy by Muslim groups over the so-called  religious association of Yoga.
