Video of Grandeur of divine "Ganga Ghats" of Varanasi(India),one of the oldest living cities in the world, at night.
Varanasi, the cultural capital of India, is also popularly known as Kashi or Benaras.
Varanasi has nearly one hundred ghats.Most of the ghats are used for bathing & puja ceremony ghats while a few exclusively as cremation sites.Many ghats are associated with legends & mythologies.
Ghats of Ganga are perhaps the holiest spots of Varanasi.It is the Ganga Ghats of Varanasi that complement the concept of divinity.There are a number of temples on the bank of Ganga river in Varanasi.It is at Ganga ghats where we see life & death together. It is believed that people are cleansed physically,mentally & spiritually at Ganga ghats.
