UNCONTROLLED SOUND POLLUTION LEADING TO UNCONTROLLED UNSOUND HEALTH

5. Deafness or hearing loss after 45 years

Traffic is the main source of sound pollution in cities.

It has been pointed out  by research  that upto  85 decibel is the safe limit for our ears.

Children are falling prey to hearing loss due to excessive use of headphones.

It is unfortunate that people are becoming aware of air pollution but sound pollution is being neglected  at every level.
