Dr Ajay Kumar (Ojha), who has done his PhD on the Tharus of West Champaran of Bihar India adopting the research technique of Participant Observation, has been visiting the Tharuhat for more than three decades . Three decades ago Tharuhat - the land of Tharus was the most undeveloped, most neglected, most inhospitable and hostile region. Dr Ajay Kumar visits the region even today and continues to encourage and inspire the Tharus particularly that of Bakhari Bazaar village of Ramnagar block of West Champaran.In this video Dr Kumar can be seen interacting with the Tharu children and motivating them for education with the slogan "Hum Padhenge Aage Badhenge" meaning thereby " We will read and move forward in life "
