Can one think that a robot be the citizen of a country?
No, one can not .
But it has become a reality. Saudi Arabia has become the first country to give citizenship to a robot.
The robot, Sophia, was confirmed as a Saudi citizen during an event in Riyadh.
The move is an attempt to promote Saudi Arabia as a place to develop artificial intelligence and, in all likelihood allow it to become full citizen. It is pointed out that those same rights are not provided to many humans in the country.
