IGI Airport Delhi Best Only To Korea's Incheon

IGI Airport of Delhi India has been ranked the second best airport in the world in the highest passenger category - handling over 40 million passengers annually. This category is under the Airport Service Quality Awards 2016. Incheon Airport of South Korea was declared first.

Airport Service Quality (ASQ) score of Delhi rose from 4.96 to 4.99 in 2016 on a scale of 1to 5. The airport came tied second in the award with Changi Airport of Singapore. The award classifies airports based on passenger experience.
IGI Airport achieved 2nd rank in 2011 in the 25-40 MPPA category, which it retained for three consecutive years till 2013. IN 2014 it stepped up its position to 1st rank in the 25-40 MPPA category and retained the rank in 2015 also with a score of 4.96 in ASQ survey.
Airports Council International (ACI) - Airport Service Quality (ASQ) is the only worldwide programme to survey passengers at the airport on their day of travel.
