The feat was achieved by the children in the 2016 South Asian Championship of Tong-il Moo-Do held in Bhutan from 16-18 December. Bilal Ahmed, the coach of these children, said that they practiced day and night for months together to prepare for the championship when the entire valley was going through an intense phase of unrest.

Tong-il Moo-Do is a mixed form of martial art - the unified martial arts.

Like with most rural areas of the country these children did not have proper facility, proper place or court to practice , did not have government support even.

This great village is  just a tiny hamlet named Narkara a few kilomtres away from central square of Srinagar. Seven youngsters  from Narkara have won huge in the international championship of martial art. The winners include a Class 6 girl and a Class 4 boy.
