Celebration of 4th Anniversary of Korean Culture Centre

Korean Culture Centre opened in New Delhi on 13th December 2012 with an opening ceremony attended by the then Korea's Culture Minister Choe Kwang-shik.

KCC located in Lajpat Nagar on Ring Road New Delhi is four stories tall, covering an area of 1,826 square metres . The centre has an AV room where visitors can watch video materials and an exhibition hall, a beautiful library and facility to offer Korean language, Taekwondo and traditional music classes.

This has been the first Korean Culture Centre to be opened in South Asia.

Korean Culture Centre celebrated the 4th anniversary of its opening in India. On this occasion a book 'A Match Made in Heaven' based on a historic story of connecting India and Korea was released. The story relates to a 2000 years old  love story between Queen of Ayodhya Suri Ratna and King of Korea Kim Suro.

This year has been a special year for Korean Culture Centre in every sphere. The Centre has been successful in creating a favorable environment and making effort towards popularizing Korean Cuisine, Korean Fashion, Korean Pop, Korean Film and Korean Culture particularly among Indian youth.

South Korea has been projected as special & unique country during Goa International Film Festival and International Trade Fair also and that is why people of India have started attracted towards Korea and  Korea  Culture.
