"Hindutva is a very powerful culture" Pandit David Frawley Vamadeva Shastri
Today it has become a fashion to demean and denounce Indian culture. The more you decry, bigger intellectual you are.
I am not saying that Indian culture has no shortcomings, I am not saying that Indian culture is ideal , I am not even saying that Indian culture is perfect but I would like to emphasize the fact that Indian culture is very rich and vast , rich like boundless sky and vast like fathomless ocean - one of the oldest culture on the globe.

India culture has been source of inspiration for many who have not been Indian. They have been so impressed and influenced by the uniqueness of Indian culture, that they have embraced Hinduism on their own. One such person is David Frawley. Born in 1950 David has been American Hindu teacher - a Vedic teacher ( Vedacharya) , Vaidya ( Ayurvedic Doctor) and also a Jyotishi (Vedic Astrologer).

David Frawley was named Vamadeva Shastri after the Vedic Rishi Vamadeva in 1991 under the auspices of the Hindu teacher Avadhuta Shastri.
David Frawley says:
" Since Hindutva is a very powerful culture , cultural war has been waged against it. There is no judgement against Christian or Islamic traditions but only against Hindu traditions or Hindu practices. Even Media & Academicians use to criticize most of the Hindu activities and practices but not those of other religions including Christian and Islam. We observe that whatever knowledge about Hindutva comes, it comes from other than Hindus particularly Marxists, Christians and Americans. But that is not the case with other religions. There are many religious departments in US but the teachers belong the same religions as are the departments but that is not the case with Hindu religion. There is hardly any Hindu teacher in Hindu department."
" Which religious tradition is right and which should be banned - is not the subject of court. It is surprising that court gives judgement on Dahihandi or Jallikattu but does not speak on the issues related to other religions. People die due to fire in Chrismas tree then should that be banned? Instead of banning there should be safety arrangement. Media does not raise any question when Hindu activists or RSS workers are attacked, but when issue is related to other than Hindus it becomes a national news. No doubt Hindus are in majority but since Nehruvian period the government has adopted Leftist policy. If we see the history books being taught in schools, whatever written on Ancient India is written by Communists. History has been distorted to suit a political agenda."
" There is need to redefine secularism. There is also need to understand how secularism is seen in West. India talks of secularism but there is no Uniform Civil Code. In almost all the countries of West there is Uniform Legal System."
" Though there are good people also in every religion but there is a scheme in Christianity of converting Bharat. Former Pope said this. They are injecting money into it. Islam is also promoting conversion, people like Zakir Naik are doing like this. Islamist people are doing jihaadi attack. Hindu should prepare themselves for this danger."
" In Hindu tradition alone goddesses are worshiped. In Christianity Mother Mary is not the mother of Universe, she is just mother of Jesus. They do not have divine mother. There is no such personality in Islam either."
" Bharat is not an Islamic state. Most of the Islamic states have left triple talaq. America also does not permit this. If you want to make Bharat secular and modern state, there is need of Uniform Civil Code. It is a matter of giving rights to women also."
" Hindutva should move towards pure spiritualism. There is an urgent need of developing a sense of national unity in Bharat (India) as a country. Hindu culture is great. It should not be lost. Indians need not move after Americans or British."
"Religion is a law of nature. Therefore Hindutva is much more than religion."
