How can our rivers be clean? How can the Cleanliness Drive be successful? Brahmaputra ( Son of Brhama or son of the Creator of Cosmos) is in tears. Also called as Burlung-Buthur by the Bodo, Yarlung Tsangpo in Tibetan language. Geologically this river is the youngest among the major rivers of the world yet known as moving ocean. This video clip " From the Eyes of Dr Ajay Kumar Ojha" captures dirt,sludge, garbage being dumped into this great river in Guwahati that too near the bank from where jetties operate for Umananda temple located at the Peacock Island in the middle of the river Brahmaputra just opposite Kachari Ghat.
