Baratang Island is located between Middle and South Andaman Islands. It is approximately 110 kms from Port Blair, Andaman & Nicobar Islands Bharat (India). This is one of the most popular tourist attractions & destinations for most of the tourists visiting the Islands. Baratang Tropical island has many interesting things to offer such as dense forest, tribes, mangroves, boats, beaches, birds, caves, trekking, volcanoes including famous mud volcano, serene blue sea, peaceful-uncrowded- unpolluted-unspoilt - pristine nature. Baratang Island is connected through regular ferry from Middle Strait Jetty (End of Jarawa Tribe Reserve Forest on South Andaman Islands) to Baratang Jetty on The Great Andaman Trunk Road connecting Port Blair (South Andaman) to Diglipur (North Andaman).
