Experience Block 6 of Cellular Jail (Kala Pani) Port Blair Bharat (India)





Cellular Jail which is better known as 'Kala Pani' , was a colonial prison in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands , Bharat (India). The prison was used by the British for exiling political prisoners to the remote archipelago. Many notable independence activists were imprisoned here during the struggle for India's independence such as Veer Savarkar, Yogendra Shukla, Batukeshwar Dutt. Now the complex has become National Memorial Monument. This is a video clip of Block 6 , one of the seven Blocks of the jail.
