From the Eyes of Dr Ajay Kumar Ojha :
Super Pink Moon 2020 Mehrauli New Delhi
(All the images are subject to IPR)
The Moon remained full for three consecutive days from Monday April 6 night till Thursday April 9 morning .
It is because the Moon is at its closest point to Earth which is termed as perigee as the Earth's orbit is elliptical.
Therefore the Moon appears to be 14% bigger and 30% brighter than the average full Moon .
The pink Moon could also be seen live during the night and morning with naked eyes.
Due to Lock-down in view of Chinese virus Corona (COVID-19) pandemic the sky is crystal clear so watching super pink Moon is treat to naked eyes.
