Entry in the Naranag Temple Complex  with Mt Haramukh in the Background. The complex has three parts. Eastern Part, Middle Part with Mathas and more splendid Western Part  on the bank of Wangath river earlier known as Kanakvahini. The complex is also base camp for trekking upto Gangabal, Satisar (Seven Lakes) and Mt Haramukh.

Eastern Part of the Naranag Temple Complex overlooking ruins of Western Part. In between Mathas can also be seen in dilapidated condition.

Can't the temple complex belonging to 2nd-3rd Century BC be restored to its original grandeur ? Kalhan is believed to have written  'Rajatarangini' an account of the history of Kashmir, in the Naranag Temple Complex itself.
