AUTISTIC GOLFER YOUNGEST TO WIN SPECIAL OLYMPICS GOLD

Ranveer Saini of Gurgaon India is suffering from autism since the age of 2 years. In this disease any part of the brain does not develop fully but the rest can be better developed. It is a neurodevelopment disorder characterized by impaired social interaction, verbal and non-verbal communication, and restricted and repetitive behaviour. Instead of feeling pity for them or showing sympathy if they can be properly supported and motivated they can do wonders.

That is what happened with Ranveer the special child who has created history at a very young age. He became the first Indian to win a gold medal at the Special Olympics World Games in Los Angeles on 31st July 2015. At 14 years, he is also the youngest participant to win the competition.

Ranveer, the autistic golfer dreams of emulating former Asia No.1 Jeev Milkha Singh. He has already won 4 Golds, 1 Silver and 1 Bronze medal at International level and more than 20 medals at National level.
