Aadhi Aabadi Women Achievers Award is to honour " The Women of India" so that they get motivated and stand as an example to the society all across the world. The objective behind the award function is to reward the women of substance who have done excellent work for the society.

Aadhi Aabadi is one such platform which is specially created to encourage ample of women talent & honour them for their triumphant achievement in different domains with " Aadhi Aabadi Women achievers Award" which is jointly organised by Aadhi Aabadi Foundation & supported by Dinesh Singh Telefilms, Rajesh Sharma Productions & Dreamz Hub Entertainments to honour "The Women of India."

BRIEF INTRODUCTION OF RATNA PANDEY

Born in a humble family in Bariaria village of a backward district East Champaran Bihar, Ratna Pandey has done MA(Economics) & B Ed apart from course in India: Art & Culture & Vani Certificate. 

Ratna Pandey started participating in different programmes of Akashvani Ranchi such as Meri Pasand, Paricharcha, Varta and became auditioned  Casual Newsreader -cum- Translator in Hindi in Akashvani Ranchi in 1993 and also at the same time started presenting Der Se (A News & Cultural Affairs Magazine ) & Rojgar Samachar from DDK Ranchi . Later she came to Delhi and has been  giving her services in Akashvani Delhi as Casual Newsreader -cum- Translator since August 1995. She also cleared audition for Casual Announcer in Akashvani Delhi and has been working as Casual Announcer in Hindi in Akashvani Delhi since June 1996. She had presented LIVE Rojgar Samachar in Hindi in Doordarshan Kendra Delhi for more than two years. She has anchored many TV programmes including stage shows. Ratna Pandey has been voice-casting for many documentary series, spots, News & Current Affairs programmes such as Economy Scene, Turning Point, Badi Charcha, Kala Prikrama, Rajdhani Se, Krishi Darshan, DD Sports, DD News, and particularly ANI.

Ratna Pandey had the experience of contributing articles in Prabhat Khabar (Widely circulated daily newspaper in Hindi published from Ranchi) and Ghar (Magazine for Women) for nearly three years. (The then Chief Editor of Prabhat Khabar Shri Harivans is now Deputy Chairman of Rajya Sabha). She had also been associated with NADARCHAN, an internationally  recognized magazine on music and culture.

Ratna Pandey has also  been actively associated with social activities specially welfare of women & girls specially amidst Tharu Schedule Tribe situated on the Indo-Nepal border in West Champaran district of Bihar India for more than 15 years.

Ratna Pandey has faced tremendous trauma and sarcastic comments, humiliation  all throughout her life at every level, in society and office premises as well . In her initial years of struggle in media electronic as well as print there was no social media or any strong forum to vent her voice as we have today, but to remain silent amidst all odds but yes keeping her honour and dignity in tact. 

But she continued with her mission , thanks  to continuous support & encouragement from her in-laws particularly her Father-in-law Champaran Vibhuti Prof (Dr) Rabindra Nath Ojha, and of course her husband. 

Coming from a small village of Champaran Bihar and carving out a niche in Delhi amidst high profile people with influential & powerful  lobby,  was a daunting task. When she looks back she is astonished to see herself  completing 25 years - as News Reader, Announcer (RJ), Anchor, Voice- caster in TV & Radio including ANI , all these even after taking care of  home front & family affairs  single handedly. This apart, as you know she has continued working for the disadvantaged section of society including girls.
