Remembering Prof Rabindra Nath Ojha in Gandhi's Satyagraha Centenary

This short film unfolds the multifarious, multifaceted & multi- splendoured personality of Prof Rabindra Nath Ojha who has been an awe-inspiring amazing human being.  Born in Badaka Singhanpura, Buxar Bihar he retired as Professor & Head, Department of English, M.J. K College Bettiah of Bihar University. An ideal teacher, Prof has also been a renowned Personal Essayist, Poet, Critique and Prolific  Letter Writer. He has resisted all kinds of  temptations and remained truthful to his ideals and principles. For the welfare of students, teachers and deprived sections of society he went to jails several times. He participated actively in J P Movement, sent to jails, arrested under MISA (Maintenance of Internal Security Act) and once remained in jail for around two months. A Gandhian social activist he shunned violence for achieving his social objectives. In this process he has been tremendously tortured physically and mentally, hugely tormented and suspended also. Embodiment of "Simple Living & High Thinking" this "Mahatma of Champaran" has been  honoured with "Champaran Vibhuti" by the Government of Bihar. Let us remember this magnificent personality on the occasion of "Gandhi's Satyagraha Centenary in Champaran" being celebrated all over the country in 2017.
