Kibithu Arunachal Pradesh : The Easternmost Town of India
Arunachal Pradesh is the easternmost state of India . It is known as "Land of Dawn-lit Mountains", " "Orchid State of India", "Paradise of the Botanists".
Arunachal Pradesh has the highest number of regional languages in the Indian subcontinent - enriched with diverse culture and traditions.
According to Arunachal Pradesh government, the Mahabharata and Kalika Purana mention the region as the Prabhu mountains of Puranas. It is in this region that sage Parashuram washed away his sins, the sage Vyasa meditated , king Bhishmaka founded his kingdom, and Lord Krishna married his consort Rukmini.

Anjaw of Arunachal Pradesh is the easternmost district of India . And Kibithu is one of the easternmost permanently inhabited towns of India.

Kibithu is located on the last road head of the extreme northeast of North East India. Lohit river enters India at Kibithu.
