The Tallest Plunge Waterfall -Nohkalikai Falls Cherrapunjee Meghalaya India

Nohkalikai Falls near Ramkrishna Mission Ashram Cherrapunjee East Khasi Hills  is a must-see  Falls in Meghalaya Scotland of the East and one of the most beautiful state of North East India. This Falls is the tallest plunge waterfall in India. It is  almost 1115 feet tall. The name of the Falls means "Jump of Ka Likai" in Khasi language and linked to a legend about local woman Likai who jumped off the cliff next to the Falls.Below the Falls a plunge pool has been formed with unusual green coloured water. It looks like that water pours into a pond of jade. Asia's Cleanest Village Mawlynnong  is at a short distance from this place.This video clip "From the Eyes of Dr Ajay Kumar Ojha" is a visual treat to the viewers.
