AS a part of third "PROF (DR) RABINDRA NATH OJHA MEMORIAL LECTURE SERIES" a discussion was organized on 7th June 2013 (Friday) in Badaka Singhanpura village of Buxar District,Bihar on 'Samajik Punarrachana, Hum Aur Prof Rabindra Nath Ojha'.Last year the topic for discussion was 'Prof Rabindra Nath Ojha & Gramya Chetna' held on 12th June 2012.

Born in the village Badka Singhanpura of Buxar district (Bihar,India) Prof (Dr.) Rabindra Nath Ojha retired from M.J.K College Bettiah as University Professor and has been rightful front-runner amongst the famous scholars of English, Hindi ,Sanskrit and Bhojpuri. He is a well-known name as an essayist, poet, critique, reviewer, analyst, translator, letter-writer, editor, powerful orator, Director (Play/Drama), successful organizer, trade unionist, champion of the causes of Teachers, Students & Depriveds, social activist,philosopher,spiritualist above all humanist and what not. In the true sense of the 'saying' he has been embodiment of "Simple Living & High Thinking".

Prof( Dr) Rabindra Nath Ojha remained attached to his village until his last breath. He established the tradition of organizing discussion/sangoshthi whenever he visited the village with the objective that villagers could get a free platform to air their views/opinion and interact among themselves. As a visionary he cherished to see his village and villagers grow/prosper on all fronts.The lecture series in his name is continuation of this tradition.

This year the sangoshthi was special due to the fact that two young entrepreneurs Abhinav Joshi & Neeraj Kumar from Ahmedabad(Gujrat) along with a social worker Shailendra Dubey under the dynamic initiative of Shri Rathindra Kumar Ojha, Director Ministry of Commerce, Govt. of India visited the village on this occasion for exploring the possibility of investing in the village and the region for removing darkness through solar energy. Mr Ojha has also been instrumental in bringing electricity, Punjab National Bank and also road in this village.

The other important attraction of the sangoshthi was audio-visual presentation of Prof (Dr) Rabindra Nath Ojha's speech delivered on the occasion of book release of "VIPRA BAHUDHA VADANTI" in New Delhi And also audio release of his Bhojpuri poem "Kaila Balamua Se pyar" & Hindi poem "Uth Mangalam Ke Geet Likh au Mangalam Ke Geet Ga" sung by Dr Ajay Kumar Ojha plus rendering of his Hindi poem "Man Ko Kiya Ab Ish Samarpit, Deh Jagat Ko Deta Hun" by Pawan Kumar Ojha same day in Sangeet Sandhya Karyakram.Villagers were really spell-bound.

The Sangoshthi was presided over by former Sarpanch ShriSurendra Nath Pathak and Mr Abhinav Joshi was the Chief Guest.Krishak-Sahityakar Shri Ghanshyam Ojha compered the function.

Keshav Prasad Ojha, Pt Kamata Ojha,Shri Arbind Kumar Ojha, Shri Surendra Nath Ojha, Shri Niranjan Ojha Shri Shivdas Tripathy,Shri Dadan Ojha, Shri Virendra Pathak, Shri Anil Ojha, Shri Dinesh Ojha,Shri Ban Bihari Dubey, Shri Rudrapal Singh Shri Ganga Yadav, Shri, Ram Janam Yadav were present on the occasion.
