Badaka Singhanpura village of Buxar district of Bihar is a village which  is unique in its own way. It has more than ten thousand population. This Brahmin dominated village is inhabited by many other castes including schedule castes & muslim also. But this village has the tradition  of  "living together and loving together."

The election of Mukhya, this year, has demonstrated the uniqueness of the village. The election has been peaceful. The election has been violence-free unlike many other Mukhya elections, in the trouble- torn, violence-infected Bihar. The people of the village participated in the election with full enthusiasm and energy. And most importantly, the people of Badaka Singhanpura thwarted every attempt of hijacking by the outsiders. 

It is true that there were many candidates from the village out of  total fifteen candidates. It is true that outsiders have left no stone unturned for   grabbing the post of Mukhya with their money and muscle power. It is also true that there were tremendous differences among the candidates of Badaka Singhanpura. It is also true that there were many groups in the village. But it is also true that smelling the hijack,  the people of the village, drowned their differences and decided at the last minute to vote for a candidate of Badaka Singhanpura who is sure to win.

Shri Srikumar Ojha popularly known as Pappu Ojha of Badaka Singhanpura is now the new Mukhya of Paigamberpur Panchayat.
