Rathindra Kumar Ojha hails from Badaka Singhanpura village of Buxar district Bihar India. He has been a villager, a rustic all throughout. After holding many important positions in the Government of India he reached to the post of Joint Secretary, Ministry of Commerce, Government of India. Most of the people who come out of their villages for employment and livelihood use to forget their village or cannot find time for their native places, but Rathindra Kumar Ojha has regularly visited his village squeezing time out of his busy schedule and contributed tremendously , wholeheartedly towards development of the village. A high profile bureaucrat has been always attached to his native place. He has been instrumental in bringing electricity in the village, Punjab National Bank in the village , even road in the village and what not. He has helped and assisted in organizing various cultural activities in the village, sports tournaments in the village, welfare activities in the village.He has been Founder Secretary of Badaka Singhanpura Pravasi Sangh. In fact this was his brain child to bring all the Badaka Singhanpuria who are living outside the village under one umbrella so that they can interact with each other, help each other, and participate in the cultural or social activities whenever organized. His has been a very dynamic personality full of humanity, full of gentility, full of humility, full of simplicity, full of generosity, full of magnanimity - a personality of rare breed, hardly to be found now-a-days.
