Auro Beach is the popular name of Auroville Beach which is near to Auroville in Puducherry South India . Auroville is an experimental community founded in 1968 as a town where people from all over the world could live in harmony. Auro beach is located about 12 km from main Puducherry town on East Coast Road. Its shallow water and small waves make it an ideal place for swimming. It is a popular destination because the long stretch of beach has clean sands and cool waters.
