Achabal Garden(s) is situated in the Achabal town about 70 km southeast of Srinagar in the Anantnag district of Jammu & Kashmir. Achabal lies where the Himalayan mountains end in the Sosanwar hills. The site of Achabal garden may formerly been a Hindu sacred site known as "Akkshavala". The garden is known for its gushing water. Achabal is located on a hillside, with its water source at the top.
