Pongtung is an important crossing on Shillong-Dawki road. From here Dawki is at 20 Km and Mawlynnong village at 18 Km. Dawki is a very beautiful unexplored destination near Indo-Bangladesh border. Mawlynnong is a well-known village for being the Asia's Cleanest Village.
