Youth of Badaka Singhanpura village of Buxar district of Bihar coming together with boundless enthusiasm, really electrified for assuring the normal supply of electricity.

Eastern side of the village was facing acute crisis of low voltage every now and then. People of this part were very restless as they were not enjoying the supply of electricity even after power supply. They came to know that the problem was due to damaged wire at places. Electrician was to be called from another village who every time demanded huge charges for repair and most of time remained unavailable. Our house was also in this part.

When we reached the village on 9th June 2014 we were facing the same problem of low voltage & fluctuations which became very irritating. There was problem of water also as the same cannot be filled in the Tank placed on the roof of our house. Fan not running with full speed in this hot & humid weather. On the 10th June I heard sum commotion on the road behind & when I went there I was surprised to find a group of young boys were busy straightening the wires for replacing damaged wires. One boy was seen climbing up  the pole without any fear and others  giving all kinds of ground support. They were really doing tremendous job. It was a rare scene, some positive effort which definitely needed to be captured & appreciated, for others to be inspired for the development of the village. These boys, I later came to know , were all skilled in this field.

These youth were getting support & assistance from nearby houses. I saw a senior officer of Government of India Shri Rathindra Kumar Ojha coming forward, encouraging the boys, supplying iron rods they demanded & even offering Peda (village made sweet) alongwith water to the youth who were labouring hard in this hot & humid season.

This effort should be an eye-opener, a source of inspiration for the inhabitants of Badaka Singhanpura village. They should come together for solving other problems of the village also, rising above petty interests or petty politics.

It is really nice to see your comment, undoubtedly invaluable.
Of course it is encouraging for me but most importantly it is encouraging for the charged youths of Badaka Singhanpura & definitely inspiring for the other youths of not only this village but youth of the country as a whole.
Youths of our country constitute tremendous asset and also enormous demographic dividend.
