Status of Religious Conversion among the Tharus Tribe of West Champaran ...

Video uploaded by Dr Ajay Kumar Ojha

This video clip "From the Eyes of Dr Ajay Kumar Ojha"  is an interview of a Tharu tribe of Tharuhat of West Champaran Bihar India  on the burning  issue of religious conversion. There may be cases of such conversions across the border but in the Tharuhat it is negligible even though there is increase in missionary activities.

Any kind of induced or forced conversion is against the spirit of charity. To convert someone after inducing or luring or exploiting his or her  poverty, innocence & simplicity is inhuman, criminal. Even it  dirties , vilifies or belittles  the very soul of charity or missionary activity. Charity should be done without any ulterior motive. If there is an ulterior motive then such activity ceases to be charity.
